The Opportunity

Events is an important platform to engage and collaborate on impact opportunities, and as a partner to all key stakeholders in the impact ecosystem, events form a key part of our Marketing initiatives. At Sattva, we conduct and participate in external events in various capabilities in order to drive expert and data-led conversations on solving for impact at scale.

At an Events Consultant, you will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of events at Sattva. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing/ Comms to ensure all events are conceptualised, organised and managed to fulfil our business goals and aligned to our Brand experience. As part of the marketing team, you will own the events calendar, manage company hosted events and support participation of external events ensuring adherence to our brand guidelines and optimised for impact.

While every day will be different, your general responsibilities will include the following:
  • Developing and Managing the annual events calendar for Sattva
  • Manage the conceptualization and execution of Sattva hosted events, and support participation in external events.
  • Own and periodically update the events toolkit.
  • Vendor Management - Maintain and build a database of event management vendors, venues and all associated requirements.
  • Ecosystem analysis for all external events (India + Global; Impact sector + Mainstream) relevant for Sattva.
  • Evaluate the Return on Objectives (ROO management) of all events
  • Creative development - oversee and support on creative development for event collaterals - Invites, Event day collaterals etc
  • Database management - Track and monitor event outreach list to ensure we optimise event attendance.
  • Landscape Analysis & Market Research to keep abreast of the latest developments in event experience.



The Ideal Candidate:


Our goal is to realize the impact on the ground and to drive a collective win by engaging with multiple stakeholders. We are looking for individuals who align with our mission of alleviating poverty in our lifetime and have the following profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills, including negotiation, outreach management and budgeting.

  • Familiarity with Event management systems and CRM tools

  • Experienced In medium to large scale, person and online events. Experience in impact sector events will be a bonus.

  • Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Problem-solving mindset - Addressing diverse challenges with a combination of rigour, curiosity, creativity, and empathy

  • Creativity and Innovation - Encouraging new ideas and innovations, introducing novel approaches and solutions that drive positive change and value.
